Same wildlife, different rules.

The conservancies bordering the Mara are community- and privately-owned, which means they're not bound by national park rules — off-road driving, night drives and walking safaris are all allowed, and vehicle numbers per sighting are capped by agreement rather than left to chance.

You'll see largely the same wildlife as the main reserve, often with nobody else in sight. It costs more per day than reserve-only itineraries, and it's the difference most repeat safari guests say they notice first.
