Five nights of
doing nothing.
The other half of a Kenya trip.
Most safaris run five to seven days of early starts and full itineraries — which is exactly why the coast works as a back half, not a separate trip. Diani and Watamu are both a short domestic flight from the Mara or Nairobi, and both give you the thing a safari doesn't: mornings with nowhere to be.
We keep the coastal leg deliberately light — one reef excursion or dhow sail included, everything else optional. It's the counterweight to the pace of the days before it, not a second safari.
